15 of the castle's room are open to the public. Among the most remarquable are :
- La Salle des Etats de Lorraine, formely Salle des Chevaliers ( knights' Room)
Occupying two floors and re-fitted in 1863, this room is dedicated to the House of Lorraine. You will find the arms of every Duke and Duchess of Lorraine, painted a fresco. It is an exceptional testimony to the history of Lorraine from 1048 up until 1766, death of king Stanislas, and a unique example of "troubadour style".
- The Chamber of Stanislas ( virtuel visit)
adjoining the Salle des Etats de Lorraine, Stanislas bedroom is the grand apartment consecrated to the Duke of Lorraine, Historical tableaux illustrate the key moments in 17th century in Europe.
- The 18th Century salon
situated on the ground floor, this salon is sumptuous with its period furnishing and Chinese tapestries.
- The Chapel
like ancient castles, Fléville possesses a Chapel : sitting in the heart of the estate, this one is particulary endearing thanks to its stained glass windows, 17th century reliquaries and numerous pieces of religious art. Over the years, the Chapel has played host to marriages and family baptisms.
- The chambers
charming, these bedrooms are tastefully fitted out : "duchesse style" beds, period furniture and canvasses, notably by Le Bassan. The ensemble contributes to expressing the incessant vitality which animates this beautiful dwelling-place. It is also an invitation to dream and evoke life in the château.
